The power of authenticity with casting director Bella Hibbs
Bella Hibbs is the kind of person Frank Sinatra sang about. She does things her way and I have mad respect for her. Bella is the Owner and Casting Director at Good Faith Casting and has been casting for 11 years. She specializes in principal casting for Film and TV in Arizona, New Mexico, and commercial castings in Los Angeles. When Bella is not casting she has a fashion blog on the side as a creative outlet. Bella’s blog, Hibbs Life & Style shares all things fashion, fitness, travel, and lifestyle.
But this episode isn’t just for actors! Bella shares what it’s like being a woman in a male-dominated industry, how she lets her authenticity and instincts shine on social, what she learned from rejection and how those lessons are just as valuable as the wins and why it pays off to not compromise on who you are or what you want in business, life and casting.
Bella is hosting the first ever Southwest Actors Conference & Expo on September 23 & 24 and would love to see as many actors and entertainment professionals there as possible. “The Southwest Actors Conference & Expo is the premier conference for professional actors in the Southwest Region featuring leading industry experts, casting directors, talent agents, and more. This event will allow professional actors to make crucial connections, learn from top industry professionals, and gain the skills necessary to stand out in a competitive industry.”
